, New York native Sal Scalzo first began making his irresistable Italian "pies" here in 1963.

Some of my fondest childhood memories were of waiting for my father to bring home one of Sal's incredible pepperoni pizzas (civil war would break out everytime my brother and I lunged for that last slice). Just as good as Armando's in Brooklyn, and just as authentic.
